Way back in 1976, our foundation document was created with this goal: “to develop MES School into an independent, multicultural, service to children and parents of all communities of society, providing an opportunity for a quality education coupled with a specially designed opportunity for deepened social development.” We are committed to education that takes on the fortune of Indian history and culture and a progressive stance on positive social change in this context.
MES adheres to its strong commitment that Essentialism gives teachers the power to choose the curriculum, organize the school day, and construct classroom activities. The curriculum reinforces a predominantly global heritage while viewing the students as vessels to be filled and disciplined in the proven strategies of the past. Working with student interests and needs, teachers serve as guides and facilitators in assisting students to reach their goals. The emphasis is on the future, and on preparing students to be independent-thinking adults.
